a. The types of loans based on usability, consisting of:

  1.  Credit investments, namely loans for investment purposes.
  2. Working capital loans, is loans for working capital purposes.

b. The types of loans by purpose, consisting of:

  1. Credit productive, is loans granted to produce something (the production process), goods and services
  2. Consumer credit, is loans granted for personal use or used (consumed) itself
  3. Trade credit, is loans granted to traders

c. The types of loans based on the period, consisting of:

  1. Short-term credit, is loans with a maximum term of one year or less than one year
  2. Medium-term loans,  is loans with a period of one to three years; nowadays many banks classify a period like this becomes a long-term credit
  3. Long-term loans, is loans with maturities of more than one or three years

d. The types of loans based on collateral, consisting of:

  1. Loans with collateral, namely the requirement to obtain credit must have certain guarantees, either movable property or other collateral.
  2. Loans without collateral, loans without any collateral in real terms.

e. The types of loans based on the business sector, consisting of:

  1. Credit the agricultural sector, namely loans to farmers.
  2. Loans industry sectors, namely credit that is provided to industry
  3. Credit the housing sector, namely loans for home ownership or other property
  4. Credit sector professions, namely loans granted to professional
  5. Credit mining sector, namely which credit is given to entrepreneurs engaged in mining.
  6. Credit education sectors, namely education loans
